Independent owner-side leadership for buying, designing and building commercial vessels—from the first decision through handover.
ONE SIDE. YOUR SIDE.
Arkebuza turns an operating need into a controlled vessel project. We coordinate commercial, engineering and shipyard interfaces from the first brief through acceptance and the delivery voyage.
Responsibility remains visible across every contractor handover.
WORK WITH ARKEBUZA
Owners, sellers and project partners need different starting points. Each route opens the information most relevant to the decision in front of you.

Partner with Arkebuza↗TWO WAYS TO A VESSEL
Start with a vessel already in service or a blank sheet. The objective is the same: a vessel fit for its intended operation, with risks exposed early.
01 / VESSEL ACQUISITION
We translate the owner's operating requirements into a focused search, assess each candidate and support the transaction through survey, acceptance, flag and delivery.
Arkebuza supports the project from the owner's brief and design search through yard selection and construction supervision.
02 / NEWBUILD DELIVERY
We manage the path from specification and design selection through class, yard negotiations, resident supervision, commissioning and the delivery voyage.
FULL PROJECT SCOPE
Ten workstreams, one traceable baseline. Cost, schedule, quality and evidence stay connected across every handover.
Set the requirement around cargo, route, draft, performance and operating model.
Develop a new design, adopt a proven design or improve an existing one—according to the owner's operating requirements.
Identify shipyards with the required capability, capacity, schedule and commercial fit.
Audit shortlisted shipyards, verify their production capability and organise focused visits for the owner.
Lead technical-commercial negotiations toward a revision-bound contract.
Establish the owner's yard presence, project office and reporting rhythm.
Deploy hull, machinery, electrical and specialist supervision.
Coordinate MTS procurement and ISM, ISPS and MLC documentation.
Support certification, flag selection and vessel registration.
Plan trials, acceptance and the voyage to the operating region.
The same vessel under owner-side construction supervision at the yard.
CURRENT PROJECT / CHINA
Arkebuza connects the yard, design office, class, makers and subcontractors through one owner-facing control layer.
Yard capability checks, project and maker-list alignment, visit agenda, negotiation pack and technical appendices.
Resident supervision, incoming inspection, milestone verification, deviation control and photo/video evidence.
Trials, punch-list closure, documentation, crew and stores readiness, class, flag and delivery coordination.
YARDS, DESIGNERS & MAKERS
Arkebuza represents the owner while giving project partners a defined requirement, controlled decision path and one coordination interface.
Introduce your capability↗Present capacity, schedule, technology and relevant references against a defined vessel brief.
Respond to aligned technical and commercial inputs with revision status kept visible.
Work through one owner-side line across design, class, yard, makers and subcontractors.
Support milestones, quality records, deviation closure and handover with traceable evidence.
ARKEBUZA-LED DEVELOPMENT
Arkebuza is developing the vessel, operating model and cargo programme as one river–sea platform. We are inviting project investors, vessel operators and cargo owners to join the next phase.
CURRENT TARGET CONFIGURATION
PARTNERS SOUGHTCapital partners · vessel operators · cargo owners · technical partners
A 141-metre shallow-draft multipurpose cargo vessel with three holds and diesel-electric propulsion.
The initial programme is structured around three vessels, allowing phased delivery and coordinated deployment.
Inland waterways connect with the Caspian, Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean trading areas.
Capital, vessel operation and cargo commitment can be brought together within one project programme.
ARS is under development. Current figures and design directions are preliminary and non-contractual.
OWNER-SIDE DELIVERY TEAM
The team is assembled around the vessel, yard and risk profile. The owner has direct access to senior specialists and one decision and reporting line across design, class, procurement, construction and handover.
Owner-facing governance, contract support, schedule and budget control, reporting, decisions and escalation.
Selection or development of the design basis, specification, maker list and approval path with the chosen class.
Daily yard control of hull assembly, welding, coatings, piping interfaces, quality records and construction milestones.
Installation, testing and trials of propulsion, generators, auxiliaries, electrical, automation and cargo-control systems.
Document control, meetings, progress evidence, supplier coordination and an on-site Chinese-language interface.
Commissioning, trials, punch-list closure, class and flag documentation, ISM, ISPS and MLC readiness, and delivery planning.
Team experience spans tankers, bulk carriers, LNG carriers, container vessels, heavy-lift ships, FPSO and cruise projects. The final team and level of yard presence are tailored to the vessel, yard and risk profile.
START WITH THE OPERATING NEED
A useful first conversation covers cargo, route, draft, schedule and budget logic—not a pre-selected solution.
